Keeley Mitchell is a career advisor that works with SouthSearch, Inc.’s candidates.  Keeley reviews candidates’ resumes, preps them for interviews, and guides candidates in determining their career goals and the best way to achieve them.

As a former practicing attorney who has worked at some of the nation’s most prestigious law firms, Keeley understands what legal employers seek in candidates. Further, she has been counseling people on their legal and business matters and career aspirations for almost twenty years.

As the Director of Public Interest and Government Relations at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Keeley cultivated partnerships with some of the country’s leading employers. At Pitt Law, she successfully pioneered new programs, raised morale, and increased recruiting efforts. Keeley has also served as a Managing Director for Major, Lindsey and Africa in the Carolinas.  At MLA she actively recruited top candidates from all over the world to work for some of the top legal employers with located in North and South Carolina. As the former Vice President of SouthSearch, she expanded the legal recruiting firm’s presence by successfully opening and managing its Raleigh, NC office. Prior to that, Keeley spent the first twelve years of her career practicing corporate and real estate law for at some of the most prominent law firms in the country.

Keeley attended New York University, where she double majored in psychology and political science.  She earned her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Forever the learner and, in order to strengthen her skills and talents, Keeley, in addition to her position with SouthSearch, is currently working on obtaining her MBA from Penn State University as well as working on becoming certified in yoga.
